"I paint in acrylic on canvas or board. The work  ranges from satirical caricature to more realistic portraits. For me its important that the painting remains a painting and does not become too photo-realist. In the coming years I hope to create a series of paintings depicting various social/political aspects of British life. I feel it is important to explore the darker sides of human behaviour even if the paintings themselves are difficult to live with. Some artist's I admire are Hogarth, Stanley Spencer, Bosh, Otto Dix, and Cranack."
