Liz moved from Hertfordshire to her native Dorset in 2004 to concentrate on her painting, and has taken part in numerous open studios and group exhibitions since then. She works in a studio attached to her house in a small village in the heart of west Dorset.

Inspired by the simplicity and 'Englishness' of Ravilious and Bawden's work, and the ever-changing countryside surrounding the studio, her imagery concentrates on landscape and the incidental forms and structures found within it. There is a narrative spine throughout her work, which takes an evocative journey through rolling landscapes, magical forests and rugged coastlines.

Liz is currently working on hand-coloured, limited-edition linoprints. Produced in editions of between five and ten, the technique she uses is more mixed media than a straight print and ensures that no two pieces are ever the same.
