Kit Glaisyer 's oil paintings explore the metaphysical qualities of landscape through a deeply personal narrative of memory and environment. By mapping the interior re-imagining of his subjective experience, like a modern day Pied Piper he leads you on a nostalgic journey to a higher level of contemplation. Glaisyer has exhibited widely and spent several years in London in the 90's developing his techniques in abstract painting before returning to the west country in 1998, where he is now at the forefront of an emerging art scene based in Bridport, Dorset.
