John's paintings can be viewed in two prominent galleries in the South West of England, Peter Hedley Gallery, Wareham, Dorset and William Pelly Gallery, Lyme Regis.
John has had four successful exhibitions with the William Pelly Gallery and two so far with Peter Hedley Gallery.He has won several awards through various art clubs and societies.
Subject matter varies from still life to the figure and also sea/landscape. Painted in mixed media or oils John works mostly directly from the subject,sometimes making excursions to collect information and returning to the studio to complete and produce a finished picture.
