My paintings over the last decade and currently, have been anchored by classical geometry, the 'timeless science', to quote professor Keith Critchlow. More specifically the so-called Platonic Solids, the curiously beautiful Golden ratios that naturally occur with them and the related Fibonacci series of numbers. In tandem with these unequivocal forms I am using thickly applied pure colour to re-enforce their immutability and to heighten the overall intensity and texture of the pictures. My intention is not to break or shatter any artistic concepts with these paintings. On the contrary, I am seeking to re-state this simple, universal language.

Directions
At end of Gundry Lane, go straight across then immediately right into St Michaels Trading estate. Through to the second courtyard and Riverside Studio is situated on the ground floor on the right.
