The Dansel Gallery began in 1979 when Danielle and Selwyn Holmes set up a workshop and showroom, initially dedicated to their own work, but soon welcoming other artists in wood.

Today Dansel Gallery represents more than 200 UK woodworkers, probably the largest concentration of contemporary wood in the country.

Our range of wood is impressive. Dansel Gallery offers individually designed pieces of furniture and one-off decorative pieces that highlight the inventiveness and versatility of the woodworker. Also very popular items such as our range of elegant jewellery boxes, lamps, mirrors and toys are supported by our selection of books on woodworking and design.

We regularly feature a particular

range of products for example the latest is a small selection taken from our extensive range of clocks. We also show you just how much your lifestyle and environment both at home and at work can benefit from surrounding yourself with wood.

We are pleased to say that Dansel Gallery continues to win the highest praise from leading experts in the field of craftsmanship in wood, and the designs in wood we offer are certain to be in demand by enthusiasts and collectors for generations to come.
