The vibrant and exciting use of colour in Debbie Veitch paintings are inspired by her surroundings, her passion for the sea and listening to movie/classical music whilst painitng. Throughout her work Debbie communicates her own perception of a subject which she hopes will trigger recognition within the observer. This enables her to explore different boundaries, pushing her work from realism to semi-abstract. The diversity of styles she uses in here work allow her to be a free spirit which in turn feeds her creativity.
