I came to live in Beaminster 18 months ago having lived for the previous fifteen years very close to the Chesil Beach, where the proximity of the sea and sky had a considerable influence on my work.  At the moment most of my paintings are based on the sea, the shore and rock formations, some in Dorset, others further afield in Cornwall, the Med and the Adriatic, exploring the effect of light and movement and the changing textures of rock, water and sky.
